Firmware update via USB

If you wish to update your Raven using a USB cable, you need to first download the latest firmware from here.

1. Connect your Raven to the computer. It will show up as a storage device and you should see 2 folders: firminfo and firmware.

2. Open the firmware folder, it should be empty.

3. In a new window, open your Downloads folder and find the downloaded zipped file that starts with "Raven_App_".

4. Extract the files and save them to the firmware folder for the Raven. There will be up to 5 files in that folder, depending on the updates needed:

-extflash.bin

-light.bin

-radio.bin

-Smart_Cloud.bin

-wifi.bin

5. Once the files are saved into the folder, do a manual reset on your Raven. Press TEST + HOME + SyncView at the same time for one second and then release the buttons.

6. The Raven will now show a progression of firmware updates, starting with 1-5, then 2-5, etc. until the files are all updated.

The Raven will reboot when it is done. This process takes about 6 minutes. You can disconnect your Raven at this point.
